With our world in a mess, it’s good to remember who is really in control. No matter what happens, faith brings hope. But can a person really trust Jesus? Yes. Some might ask, “How can an itinerant Rabbi, who lived 2,000 years ago have an impact on my life today?”
Faith in Jesus Christ impacts every area of a believer’s life, because Jesus is God in the flesh. How can I be certain about that? The self-revelation of God in the Bible tells us that Jesus is God. He is fully trustworthy.
Some do not trust the reliability of the Bible, but that is because they have not studied the inspired word with an open and seeking heart. God showed me that the Bible is the absolute truth and the standard by which we measure all proclaimed truth. In my personal studies, I see the deity of Christ most clearly in the gospel of John. I encourage all to read it for yourselves. If you prefer a more in-depth study, pick up a copy of “Jesus Is God: Commentary on the Deity of Christ in John.”
I think you will get more out of the book if you read the gospel of John first, then read the commentary. Don’t buy it today, wait until December 1, at 8:00 a.m.,when it will go on sale for $.99 in Kindle format. The sale ends December 8, at 12:00 a.m.
I pray for God’s richest blessings on all who seek Him in His word.
Praying that all will have a blessed Thanksgiving. The world has gone crazy, and our circumstances sometimes get out of control, but remember, we have hope in Jesus Christ, and in Him, we have a lot of reasons to be thankful.
